New logo

We have been rather busy over the past couple of months creating our new brand.

We posted a voting article on our website a few months back requesting feed back on whether we should keep our current logo or go for a new more up to date look. We know that taste varies from person to person and expected an overwhelming response for the new logo but the old logo still appealed to a fair majority of our audience.

We however have no doubt that our new logo is far more appealing than the old one. We have adopted more colour and a modern font. But then again we do tend to be biased toward our own creative work.

What do you think?

Re-branding is not an exercise that should be taken lightly there are many things to consider. First and foremost is getting the new brand recognized as a transition from the old. With the digital landscape as it is today we connect through many directories, social media platforms and forums. Changing the logo on everyone of these can become quite daunting. Unless the logo has been uploaded as a link on the server that hosts your website, then it's just a case of changing the actual image on the server, keeping it as the same image name i.e. logo.png.

So it will be happy hunting for me, for those groups I joined as an organisation. The rest is pretty easy.
